Israele, Paesi islamici avvertono: “Così piano Trump per Gaza è a rischio”

“Israel is responsible for actions aimed at obstructing peace efforts in Gaza and in the Palestinian territories,” says a joint statement by the foreign ministers of eight Muslim countries — Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Turkey, Pakistan and Indonesia — which condemns “Israel’s declared rejection of the roadmap” that “directly threatens to derail President Trump’s efforts to end the war in Gaza and to establish the conditions for a lasting peace.”

The statement continues that Israel bears “direct and full responsibility for any consequences caused by its continued refusal, obstruction, delay and non‐compliance, including any further deterioration of the situation on the ground and any interruption of the end of the war in Gaza.”

Hamas: “Board of Peace must force Israel to comply with the plan”

Meanwhile, Hamas has called on the US‐led Board of Peace to “force” Israel to accept the Gaza peace plan, according to a statement released after the Hamas leader met in Egypt with Jared Kushner, President Trump’s son‐in‐law and envoy.

The statement says that Hamas has “urged the mediators and the Board of Peace to assume their responsibilities and compel the occupation to implement all its commitments in the first phase, to end violations by stopping killings and raids, and to approve the roadmap for the second phase of the president’s plan and begin setting a timetable for its implementation.”

Ben Gvir: “Kill 30–40 people every night in Gaza”

Itamar Ben Gvir added fuel to the fire. “I think targeted assassinations should be carried out in Gaza, taking down 30–40 people every night. Not only those who pose an immediate threat — there are people who do not deserve to live, they should not live, they are not even people,” the Israeli minister of National Security said on the podcast “October” hosted by former Hamas captive Rom Braslavski, according to the Times of Israel.

“It’s no secret, I disagree with the prime minister,” the far‐right Israeli figure said regarding the reduction of Israeli operations in Gaza amid international pressure to advance President Trump’s peace plan. In the interview, Ben Gvir also called for the mass emigration of Palestinians from Gaza, a proposal that, legal experts say, could amount to ethnic cleansing under international law.

“I consider all of Gaza to be ours,” he said. “Settlements not only in Gush Katif but throughout Gaza, encouraging as much emigration as possible, sending them to their countries, and for the terrorists no emigration — just kill them one by one.”
