A strong magnitude-7.7 earthquake struck the Flores region in eastern Indonesia this morning, causing fatalities, building collapses, and landslides. According to the latest reports, at least 20 people have died and search-and-rescue operations are ongoing. A tsunami warning that was issued after the quake has since been lifted. Numerous videos posted on social media show buildings crumbling and people fleeing.
