Ruto: Kenya developed some of the world’s most advanced geothermal projects

“The transition to clean energy is the foundation of a new development model. It is not only about the environment, but also about economic growth and industrialization. We are creating new industries and building modern, resilient energy systems. In Kenya, we have developed geothermal projects that are among the most advanced worldwide, and large wind installations such as the Turkana Wind Project,” said William Samoei Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya, speaking at the event “Kenya: a great country looking to the future” held at the Luiss Guido Carli Campus in Rome.
