“Ukraine has agreed not to hit Russian energy targets. Russia has agreed to do the same!” wrote U.S. President Donald Trump on his Truth Social. “The rise in global gasoline prices is caused mainly by the war between Russia and Ukraine, not by Iran,” Trump added.

The U.S. president had yesterday asked Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky to stop attacks on Russian refineries, saying that the increase in energy prices was due to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
