Ukrainian soldiers marched in Paris today, 14 July, during the Bastille Day parade. Troops from Kyiv walked down the Champs-Élysées alongside French forces and allied units as part of the national celebrations. In the stands, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky watched, visibly moved. At the same time, two Ukrainian pilots flew over Paris in French-made Mirage fighter jets. “Proud to see Ukrainian servicemen march alongside our forces. A symbol of brotherhood, courage and shared destiny. My thoughts are with the Ukrainian people who are fighting for their freedom and, with it, the freedom of all Europeans,” said French President Emmanuel Macron.
