European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will receive today in Brussels Ana Botín, Executive Chair of Banco Santander; Jean Lemierre, Chairman of BNP Paribas; and Slawomir Krupa, Chief Executive Officer of Société Générale, the spokesperson Paula Pinho announced last Friday, without providing details on the purpose of the meeting.

Today she will also meet with European Investment Bank (EIB) President Nadia Calviño and with Terry Reintke, co-chair of the Greens/European Free Alliance group in the European Parliament.

The Commission President will then travel to the Caucasus, first to Azerbaijan, where on Wednesday she will meet President Ilham Aliyev, and then to Armenia, where on Thursday she will meet Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Finally, on Thursday, July 2 and Friday, July 3, she will be in Ireland for the start of Ireland’s rotating Council presidency.
