A 31-year-old British woman has died after being stabbed at Rosenheim railway station in Bavaria, police said. Officers responded to a report of a knife attack; the woman was seriously injured, taken to hospital and later died.

Police have arrested a 27-year-old German man suspected of carrying out the attack. It is not yet clear whether the suspect and the victim knew each other; investigators are looking into the motive and the circumstances surrounding the incident.
