The accident occurred between the municipalities of Susch and Zernez, in the canton of Graubünden, in the eastern part of the country

There are multiple victims and numerous injured, still to be fully counted, following an accident that involved a tourist bus this evening on the road between Zernez and Susch in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. The coach overturned and the Engadine road was completely closed. Several rescue units responded, including five helicopters.

On board the bus was a tourist group of 48 people, all of Dutch nationality according to media in the Netherlands. The vehicle, operated by the company Oad, was heading to Austria and the Swiss stop had been organized as a day excursion. The causes of the accident are still under investigation.
